The french association The
Alchemists of the Verb has
the role first of gathering a
collective of authors claiming at least literary
production (novels, news, poetries, be-know, songs, scripts...)
published or on the way to be it.
The spirit in which it incarne is
its expression in the literary alchiverbist movement the
movements Humanises, Romantic and Surrealists. Its members, eager to exceed
the verbal agreements, to write
with complete freedom and to reach a true communication share the faith that
in any man rests a free humanity of any ideological,
racial conditioning, nationalist, sexist, monk and cultural. Also, the
training of the writing and the reading seem to be of a blue chip in our
aptitude to mobilize a critical spirit.
However, in 2003, with the
crosing of a new century and "an other" millenium, the writing and
the reading remain essential goods from which certain areas of the world do
not profit yet. In spite of a
will of massive schooling, illiteracy remains a reality not to be neglected.
Although very widespread, this phenomenon is marginalized and little
known from general audience
To write and
communicate, it is to show our level of education, our social statute, our
membership, with a culture, it is to make share or to reveal a resentment, an
emotion... the illiterate people very often have legitimate fear with respect
to a "relearning" of the written language. For a number of them, the
frustration added to their means of comprehension of their environment lead
them to consider that they do not have anything to say... or
anything to say of interesting to the others, especially when these
others are people known as well-read people.
We,
members of association The Alchemists of the Verb, feel this
responsibility which is to rehabilitate and for reappropriate the right to the
knowledge by the exchange, in particular by the writing and of the reading. If
the man does not find his end in himself, he is subjected to something which
dominates him and lives of him: this is why the association of the Alchemists
of the Verb, under the regrouping
of all its authors, makes the wish highly bring its altruism and a little
humanity to support this combat against illiteracy and to diffuse in France
initially all these authors.
